iPhone 15 Pro Max Camera Blurry and Out of Focus

I just did a shoot for my church and trying to open the files they came out lo-rez (videos and images). I am using Win 10. I do have win 11 laptop that did open the images,although not from the phone, had to save them to the laptop first. they are still exceedingly noisy. So it appears that for us Windows users 11 is the only option. If i could get my 13 promax back I would swap it in a heartbeat. Contacted Apple and they said there was nothing they could do. Suggested loading them to the Icloud, not happening!

I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max - since I have switched to OS 17 my photos are absolutely terrible ! Grainy, out of focus and defaults to 2x option on zoom !

so annoyed as I needed to take photos of my old dog before we said our final goodbye and all I have is crappy out of focus grainy pictures! Apple has lost the plot with this update ( assuming it’s what is causing this functional change ?!)

I have tried all options to change this nothing helps … if anyone know what I can do to fix PLEASE share 🙏

This sucks Apple !! I can only imagine how those who have forked out the $$ for a new phone would feel !!

I am disappointed with the camera quality of iPhone 15 Pro Max. Coming from 12 Pro Max which was amazing it’s a noticeable difference. All photos are grainy, some are blurry. Portraits nowhere good as they used to be with 12 PM. I am regretting I “upgraded”. I should have gone with pixel 8 pro. Hopefully next year I will be able to trade in 15 PM for next pixel.

I am having an issue if I put my phone close to an object it does not focus at all. I tried various settings, even did a phone reset and nothing. I also tried using different lenses and it seemed to focus better on 2x. I was trying to use the QR Code Scanner at work because we actually scan a lot of those barcodes, and the camera is super blurry on the app. On the regular camera it's also blurry and takes a while to focus. IDK what to do.

What a dissapointment! I have been waiting 15PM for months. Since i have no problem with my 13 pro which has been used by me for 1,5 years, I have only decided to upgrade and replace it with 15 pro for its camera. I,ve just opened the brand new box yesterday and I cant even take a selfie. The photos are horrible in front camera!! Blurry, dark, grainy. Apple NEEDS TO FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!??

THIS ALSO HAPPENS ON ALL IPHONE 15 SERIES. I've just bought 15 pro and opened its box yesterday with a great excitement, and this morning I woke up with a huge disappointment! The camera works worse than Iphone 7!!

I have changed my phone from 13PM to 15PM just for the camera features, and paying this much money. The result was so sad. APPLE please fix this immediately.

I have the I phone 15 plus and my pictures are coming out so blurry and out of focus. When i try and take a selfie with the front camera, everything looks good until I take a picture and look at it. It comes out so dark and blurry:(

i am suffering the same problem and since I have talked with the Apple support team this morning, they say that it won’t fix because it’s the main feature of the 15 pro series. So I didn’t get why did we change our phones to this model I have never ever captured that much bad selfies:((

Just got my 15 pro max. The picture looks good in the front camera but when we click the selfie, the picture looks horrible. The processing is awful. It also becomes dark, grainy and rough. Horrible experience so far. Feels like money went down the drain. I have tried almost all of the settings but no luck. Anyone know how to fix this? :( My iphone 7 plus captures much better.

What should we be doing to get tit fixed. I have tried everything i even reset the phone. The front camera looks awful. Blemishes on the faces, darker, blurry. And since i have been living in Istanbul I cant replace the phone because I bought it from New york . I am stuck

I had the same experience going to 14pro. It’s seriously disappointing and I felt tricked after I realized how bad it was. Shooting in raw helps some, but you use your storage faster and are not able to use Live Photos.

The only question left for us to ponder is if it’s time to go android. 2 releases with such a basic feature performing so poorly?

I’m so devastated that I’ve spent so much money on this phone. I got my last Apple phone in 2020 when my daughter was born and I loved it. I ran out of storage so have I saved and saved and saved and got this new 15 pro with 1tb storage so I could continue to take beautiful photos of my family. And thought it would last me at least another 3+ years. But all the photos are terrible. Grainy, like they are kinda out of focus or something. Awful colour capture, it looks dull af… almost like an instax photo. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am and how much I regret my choice. Everything I read said ‘this camera is amazing’ - absolute tosh!!

This is frustrating. The price of this phone is super expensive. I just hope Apple will do something about it to fix this issue. Maybe a software change or update. I just noticed my pictures were all grainy and blur.

I also facing this problem apple! When i open my camera preview image is really cool but when I click it after clicking image is really blurry , grainy and bad it’s like I clicked in some low end device. lol someone please tell me is it hardware issue or software issue? Because I am very afraid I hardly adjust a money for this phone and this happened with me camera working really bad front and back both same situation please apple help me for this issue
