Cash app is not an Apple Product. Funds are transferred directly from Cash App’s bank to the recipient’s bank account. Apple Pay only transmits data between the banks, it does not receive funds from either bank.
You’ll need to check on your refund with Cash App support.
You must did not understand what I said. 1) I did an instant transfer from APPLE CASH to CASH APP, 2) the funds were instantaneously removed from APPLE CASH 3) CASH APP declined the transfer because my card wasn’t activated yet 3)the funds should have went back to my APPLE CASH IMMEDIATELY since cash app NEVER accepted the transaction. Now the funds have not been added back to my APPLE CASH. CASH APP has confirmed they never received the funds because they DECLINED the transaction and also confirmed IT SHOULD HAVE INSTANTANEOUSLY went back to APPLE CASH. So yes, I have started a dispute with APPLE CASH as the funds should have been available right back in my balance but it had not.
Per cash app, because they DECLINED it being transferred to my CARD, the money should have been returned immediately. Weird thing is, cash app shows declined, but my apple wallet shows it was approved. So I’m not sure if Apple Cash is waiting for some type of notification from cash app to advise they declined it. But I have already started a dispute because it wasn’t a small amount.
when I did a standard money transfer from Apple Pay to cash app, cash app said it declined because my card was locked but the money never returned to my Apple Pay. Why is that? The money should’ve been returned into my account if it was never excepted in the first place. I called Apple support and I’m still confused why it’s taking so long to go back into my account? And will I even get my money back if I continue to wait and don’t get it within those business days?
You’re asking someone that posted over 2 months ago. Funds are always returned under these circumstances, but nothing is going to happen instantly, at least not without a pretty hefty fee. Your receiving account rejects the transfer, they are sending it back the slowest means possible, because it’ll cost them the least amount possible.
Banks rarely return funds instantly, in my experience. Transfers through standard ACH typically take 1 to 3 business days.
This transfers happen under Federal banking regulations. An instant transfer must be post immediately. If the funds aren’t showing, Cash App did not return funds instantly.
So what ever happened with this because it just happened to me
The funds are returned, but it just takes time.
Did the money ever come in
