Use Apple Pencil with your iPad - Apple Support

Your Apple Pencil can be also be used for features beyond drawing. This feature can be changed from Settings > Apple Pencil > Only Draw with Apple Pencil. When this feature is disabled, you'll be able to scroll with your Apple Pencil.
