Can't log into Apple Music on chrome

I'm trying to log into the apple music website on my windows computer, but when I hit sign in, fill out my account info, and press log in, nothing happens, and I'm brought back to the screen I was at previously. When I go to listen now and press start listening, it will tell me that I'm already a subscriber, even though I'm not signed in. I tried signing in to apple music a couple weeks ago, when my phone was broken and not receiving texts, so I'm wondering if thats a factor in my problem. (The device is my windows computer so I just clicked my current phone because I had to fill it out with an Apple device.

I'm also not receiving any confirmation texts, which usually happened in the past when I signed into apple music on my computer.

Hi rawstoo,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're unable to sign into Apple Music via Chrome.

Do you have access to another web browser on your computer to sign in? If so, are you able to successfully sign in using an alternate web browser?

Also, check out this resource which will show you how to listen to Apple Music on the web: Listen to Apple Music on the web and in apps - Apple Support

Hey,

I was facing the same issue on Microsoft Edge.

The culprit was a recently added extension which controls YouTube playback speed.

So, I would suggest removing any recently added extension and restart the browser and give it a try.

In case you need the extension otherwise, then using Apple Music on a different browser would work fine.

Hello rawstoo,

If you're able to load and access the site in a different browser, then that would indicate a compatibility issue with the site and that one specific browser.

You may want to check with that browser developer to see if any updates are available for it.

If it's up to date, you can also try contacting Apple to see if the Apple Music website is supposed to be compatible with that browser: Get Support

Cheers!
