Find Friends, friend not sharing

My friend friends says one person can see my location but I can’t see theirs, but other people can see their location.

The person says they deleted the app cause they have issues. Just wondering if that’s true.

Hello,

Find My for people can work in one direction or both directions.

You can share your location with another person. To see the other person's location, they must agree to it. See this for detail:

The person who deleted the app should consider adding it back from the App Store. It is very useful in the event of a lost phone:

Use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item

Good luck.
