Long press on the lock screen.

Scroll left to the wallpaper that you want to delete. Swipe up to delete.

The way your question is worded makes it seem like you have already changed wallpapers but want to delete one …in your words…. “I no longer use.” If you no longer use it, it’s no longer on your lock or home screen, correct? Based on my understanding of how I interpret your statement….


If it is one of the iOS preinstalled wallpapers, you cannot delete it from your phone. It will remain in the Wallpaper settings whether you use it or not.


If it is a wallpaper that you downloaded or it is a photo that you were using for wallpaper, delete it in the photos app.
