MERGING DUPLICATE PHOTOS… is there an all at once delete?

I take tons of pics, between the iPAD on iCloud & cell, I have 5600 duplicates….is there a “command all” that will allow me to merge these all at once? Please tell me Apple isn’t expecting a “onesie-twosie” for each pic? Thanks.

The answer is yes you can do this.

The language the app uses is confusing.

When you select multiple items (or all) in the duplicates tab, it only merges the ones which are actually duplicates.

eg if you select 4 photos, made up of 2 pair of duplicates, it will leave you with 2 photos only, one from each pair, and none of them will then be a duplicate.

Definitely they could improve the language!
