Have gone to check my weather app today and it isn’t working. It still shows my set locations but just 2 lines under the name and nothing loads up.
background refresh is all correct as is location services.

Current Issue with the Weather App:
A. There is a Bug at this Moment:
As of this reply, there is an issue at this an moment with the Weather app. So, you'll just have to wait it out for a few. See this Link: Apple - Support - System Status
B. Screenshot: Click "Weather" at the very bottom-right corner.

It’s curious how the app has a link to report an issue and then implies without knowledge the problem is with your network instead.
As if it can’t somehow ask the OS if the device is online, and respond with a smarter response, such as a link to this community.
Do better, Apple.
I’m liking the fact I’m based in the UK and no where near Alaska and there is absolutely no issues with my British network
