How to delete Calendar subscriptions on iPhone?
How do I delete a calendar? You say to go to Settings-calendars… subscribed calendars but that doesn’t exist.

Neither of these work for me. There’s no delete button in the calendar app.
I can’t follow where to go in settings. I am using iOS 16.3.1

That doesn’t work. There’s no way I can see to delete them from the app. The suggestion is a little vague. If it were that simple I would have done it.
How to remove a calendar on your iPhone in earlier versions of iOS
If this doesn't fix the issue, delete the calendar subscription in Settings:

OK - I will provide the last detail. After you tapped “Calendars” in the bottom center as I suggested above, uncheck the calendar(s) you no longer wish to see.
Yes that stops events on that slender from appearing but doesn’t get rid of the calendar. I never properly explained my problem. Somehow I’ve generated too many confusing calendars and I’m trying to simplify them down to something simple.

Open the Calendar app. Tap "Calendars" in the bottom center. Remove calendars from there you no longer want.
As Axel Foley said above:
”Tap the More Info button next to that calendar, then scroll down and tap Delete Calendar.”
