where can I enter legacy serial numbers for older Mac products like the G4 tower?

You can try these.

Apple's look up may or may not work with legacy serial numbers.

Everymac's lookup probably will.

Apple's look up did indeed work my friend and it's still registered under my name! My coverage has expired alas after twenty years. lol.


I pulled this old Mac G4 Quicksilver out of my mom and dad's storage shed this past weekend. It was my birthday and I was felling nostalgic for my old Apple. She was still there, boxed up by a younger and just as neurotic version of me. The monitor is there as well...she's missing a HD and RAM...cant remember why. Oh well...


****...I bought the beast from an Apple reseller in Nashville, TN back in...December of 2001. $2499.00 back then, that's like the buying power of $4254.66 in today's money. Crazy...
