Apple Watch Ultra Damaged Wrist in 6 Months

I’ve been wearing my Apple Watch Ultra since September 2022 and noticed a month ago that it has caused deterioration of my wrist muscle and tissue. There is a visible dent where it’s caved in that does not go away. There’s just skin on bone, tendon and vein where it once was a healthy, supple wrist. It also burned me and I got a red “bite” type mark from it. My skin is healing from the red puncture looking mark, but there is still a scar. The whole surface area of my skin where the face of the watch sits is shiny and crepey. I even tried wearing it less (just for sleep tracking) but it still caused problems. This is really concerning that it caused this much damage over the course of 6 months! I’m so bummed because I loved its features so much. This is dangerous and unhealthy. No way am I going to wear it again. Ever.

Oddly, this past 6 months I’ve been lethargic and feeling malaise for no reason. I wonder if this could be correlated. That just dawned on me, that about one month after wearing this watch is when these mystery symptoms began.

I have been medically checked and there are no health issues. Anyone else having any of this??

Apple Watch, we have to break up. Will you give my body tissue and muscle back?

I’m going to contact Apple because this is not okay!

I’m not diagnosing…. However Edema is the name for the primary symptom described. Especially when combined with the other symptoms mentioned, lethargy and malaise, this matches up with symptoms that indicate a severe problem, possibly heart, liver, or kidney failure, or some combination of the three. I’ve spent the last 13 years working in a health care facility and my wife has been a nurse for 40 years.

This very much warrants a trip to the doctor without delay.
