iPad and webcam

iOS/iPadOS devices have no provision for connection to an external webcam - or to accept direct video input.

While you cannot connect an external webcam, perhaps consider using FaceTime. With FaceTime, you can use either the front or rear camera of your iPad. Suitably positioned, this may provide an acceptable solution.
