Greek alphabet on iPads

If you want, you can add the Greek keyboard to your iPad. First, go to Settings > Keyboards > Keyboards > Add new keyboard, then choose the Greek one. In the app you want to use, switch to the Greek keyboard and select the symbol: second row, third option for Δ.
