Watch snoozing since update

My watch recently updated to OS 9.3.1 and since then the alarm function is totally unreliable. I have nearly been late for work three times because I wake up to find my watch has snoozed my alarm. It didn’t even wake me. What has happened to this function since the update!?

I use my watch as my alarm and this is really causing issues.

Watch S7 OS9 Post Update Problem Since the OS 9 update, for the Watch, I have been getting a constant notification on my watch to Snooze by Double Pinch, every time I raise my wrist. I am posting this here, because it doesn't appear anyone has posted about this yet. The discussion on Reddit suggested doing a reset/restart, of the Watch, by holding both side buttons down, at the same time, for 3 seconds. This worked for me and got rid of the nagging Snooze reminder. Until this morning. I used my Smart Alarm this morning, hit Stop when it went off. But now the Snooze notification is back, every time I raise my wrist. So I am going to avoid using the Smart Alarm for a few days and see if that works I hope the fixed update is ready soon. Apple Watch 18.2 - Alarm in Sleep not working I use my watch to track my sleep and wake me in the morning. I use the sleep app and had zero issues until recently. Previously, when the alarm would go off, my watch would play the sound and use the haptic tap I selected. I would see an option to snooze or end. If I looked at my phone, I would see the same options. About a week or so ago, the watch stopped playing a sound nor provide a haptic touch. It will display the option to snooze though. I have checked settings and even tweaked my sleep schedule and alarm sounds and nothing worked. It's getting a bit annoying.

Apple Watch Ultra no longer makes sound or haptics for alarm WatchOS11.3 Since my Apple Watch Ultra updated to OS 11.3 the alarms no longer make a sound or haptics. Either by setting an alarm verbally,, manually, or through the sleep schedule it doesnt make any sound or perform haptics to wake me. Of cource the watch is in sleep mode in the morning so i dont get woken up by the watch light or by dumb calls in the middle of the night, but why doesnt it play the alarm sound or haptics for alarms anymore? doesnt matter if its on silent or not, or do not disturb or not, it doesnt do anything, I wake up hours late and look at my watch and its the alarm screen asking to snooze or stop, but it never made a sound or haptics hours ago. What is happening Apple?

Did you update the iPhone to iOS16.3.1?

Do you set the alarms on the Watch or on the iPhone and mirror them?

If you use the iPhone and wear the watch in bed there is always that danger however there should have no effect of the update unless the iphone is not udated.

Then restart both.

My iPhone seems to need an update but idodnt get an alert and need to create space. Will try that thanks

Apple Watch and iPhone always get updates at the same time. You should ideally update the iPhone first.
