Problem burning blu ray in fcpx

I am trying to burn a 4gb movie file from FCPX on a single layer 25GB blank blu ray disc. I receive a message wrong media:insert a double layer disc.

Final Cut Pro Decoding & Rendering Errors I am having issues exporting a documentary project on Final Cut Pro X (version 11.0). The project is a little over an hour and when I play it back, it seems fine. But when I go to export the project (in even the lowest quality) I receive the following error: The share operation "Export File: "Documentary.mp4" has failed. The operation couldn't be completed. Error (10008): processing frame. "Documentary" cannot be rendered at 00:37:02:19. Error (-12909): decoding source file. "MVI_5153.mp4" cannot be decoded at 00:00:39;12. I did some research on this matter and it looks like the file is corrupted? I will mention that my hard drive went bad and I had to get all my data recovered and yes, there are a small amount of files that will glitch. I thought that they were not used in my project, but it seems that they have. So is there anyway for me to know which clips are corrupted and unable to be decoded or will I have to run the export command every single time (which takes an hour) just to receive an error code? Hopefully there is an easier way.

Final Cut Pro Bluray Exporting Error Continuously getting the error message: "Could not create the disc (Invalid Format, The video file is not compatible with the selected disc format.)" every time I try and export my video into a AVCHD format.

Try selecting Single Layer.

Sounds as though you may have Double Layer selected.

Make a Blu-Ray disk image from FCP and burn the image to disk from the Finder.

Have you tried Tom's suggestion of a disk image with single layer selected?

In the Share settings set the output device to Hard Drive.

Thank you, I did try switching from automatic to single with no success.
