Passcode not working after reset

I reset my iPhone XS Max so after a day when I turn off and ON my mobile not accept the passcode which I was using.

and I don’t want erase my data.

what I should do ..?

someone plzzz guide me and what is the reason my passcode is not working after reset.?

To only way to unlock your iPhone, is follow the steps described in the Apple article:

(< iOS 15.2) ->: If you forgot your iPhone passcode

If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support

 

(iOS 15.2 or iPadOS 15.2 and newer) If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen

If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support
