I forgot my iPhone passcode

There is absolutely no record of a device’s passcode other than any you might have made yourself.

If you can’t remember it, your ONLY alternative is to reset (erase) the device and restore it from a backup.

If you forgot your passcode and are unable to unlock your iPhone, you can erase it to remove the passcode lock and restore it from a backup.

Next time, it might be a good idea to write down the passcode that you choose....even though you might be sure that you will never forget it.

We see multiple posts every day from users who have forgotten the passcode that they were also sure they would never forget.

Follow the instructions to erase and reset your phone that are already posted. Hopefully, you have a backup, so that you can make the phone look like it did before.
