Why can’t I receive text messages from all android devices

All text messages that are sent to OR received from non-Apple devices are sent through SMS. The SMS text messaging service is provided and managed by your carrier. Please contact your carrier for further diagnosis and a resolution.

You may not have an SMS plan enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc does not provide SMS services.
