My daughter updated her phone last night and now both our photos have disappeared. Their not on the recently deleted or hidden. Neither are they on the cloud and when backed up their not on the iCloud either. Anyone know what’s happened or anyway of restoring them
Her update of her device should not affect yours in any way -- unless you're using the same Apple ID as each user needs their own.
If pictures no longer appear in iCloud, check the Recently Deleted album at iCloud.com. If there is nothing there, the pictures are gone. You'll need to recover from your backups.
