dean2105,

If we’re understanding correctly then, the issue is occurring only when streaming music, is that right?

Previously it had been suggested to test on a different network. Wi-Fi vs cellular or even on a different Wi-Fi network. If you had a chance to do that, what were the results?

Also, if you listen with the built-in speakers, so not using a Bluetooth device, does the situation persist?

Lastly, if the issue is with streaming only, please be sure to test with any VPN or security software removed. Check VPN (Virtual Private Network) and third-party software to help resolve network connectivity issues

Thanks.

Hey dean2105,

Does this happen with all songs or some specific songs? Did you test this out with multiple network connections? Are these songs your personal songs download from a third-party source or songs from Apple Music? Does it happen when you don't connect your device using Bluetooth?

Let's first restart your device to see if it helps. If you're using an iPhone, follow these steps below:

How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

If you have an older model iPhone, check out the other steps here: Restart your iPhone

Also, make sure you don't have any other Bluetooth enabled devices near your device while playing music. It's possible that it can interrupt with the Bluetooth connection from other devices.

Cheers!

Hey ya’ll, So I have been listening to downloaded CD’s for the past few days and have not experienced any delays. Switching to my favorite playlists and new ones on Apple Music I experienced intermittent delays of volume drop offs(lowered volume) which returns to the initially set volume level. Though not a formal nor rigid exercise it is difficult not to clearly discern numbers of this issue. Let’s keep exchanging experiences and maybe we can help Apple in correcting this problematic annoyance. Cheers,Dean
