Update Plug-ins popup keeps showing - Apple Motion

If you're running Apple Silicon, those specific plugins haven't been updated for Mx chips yet. You'd have to run them with Rosetta. MotionVFX has an article about how to do that.

Ok, so the only solution I have that might work - is to set Motion to open to a new project - instead of the project browser.

If you go into your Motion preferences - and in general - set the start up action to 'create new project' - so this will go directly into Motion instead of activating the project browser. It is the project browser that searches for all of your plugins to preload - so if we skip the browser - maybe we can skip the pop-up.

..you need to then go the 'general' options - and choose the default motion template that you want to create.

I am not sure if this will work to stop the pop up - but you can try this and see.

Have you contacted Motion VFX for this. Their customer support team is probably the best channel to get help for this.

If you don't use and don't want to, or can't update them, why not just uninstall those plugins?

Hi, yes I understand that the topic is the pop-up rather than the plugins - however it seems to be related directly to those Motion VFX products which is prompting Motion to present the pop-up. I recommend contacting Motion VFX about it - but hopefully someone here can help you with a solution too :)
