When I purchased AirPod Max, the webpage offered 6 mo free Apple Music Trial. When signing up, I was offered 3 mo trial.
A year later (yesterday), I bought the HomePod, it also advertises 6 mo. free trial on webpage, but when signed in only offered 3 mo.
What's going on? Why don't they offer what they advertise?

LOL, yes that's what they advertise. Not what they deliver! I found this in the fine print*, "Offer is available for new subscribers with an eligible device for a limited time only."
So I bought a $200 Apple TV 4K and received 6 mo free Music. Years later, bought the $550 AirPod Max, advertises 6 mo., but they only offer 3 mo. for the price of 1 mo, deal. (guess $550 doesn't warrant 6 mo deal). And then again. I just bought a HomePod mini, which also advertises 6 mo Music. But offers only 3 mo for the price of 1 mo, deal.
*I've left Verizon for its fine print. And avoid Spectrum due to all of their * ** *** (hidden, fine print) I sure Hope Apple isn't going to start playing that way...
