Locked out my phone

My screen is shattered and I was using Siri for everything and I was using my face id to unlock my phone but now it won't use it how do I get back into my phone

iPhone 13, iOS 16

You probably cannot get into that particular device if it has a shattered screen. It may be possible if you get it repaired and they do it by actually replacing the screen. However, they may also do it by giving you a refurbished unit in which case it won't have anything from your old phone.


This is where you may have to rely upon backups you have been making and restoring a backup to your replacement model.

Note that if you have been using iCloud to sync various features such as photos, those will be available on any device logged into your Apple ID, including iCloud.com
