iPhone unavailable

I have recently had my screen repaired and now my iPhone is unavailable with no option if passcode , I’ve removed this device from my list and deleted it as advised and now I cannot get into it any advice (this was my old device before new upgrade)

Well, you can thank the folks who "repaired" the screen for this one. Did you have the service done at an Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop? Take the phone back and have them complete the repair correctly.


If "repairs" were done by a non-authorized Apple shop, the bets are off. You can try to reset the phone, but no guarantees.


If your iPhone is running iOS 15.2 or higher........(it appears that it might be).......you can use the instructions linked just below which will not require the use of a Mac or PC:

If you are not sure which operating system is installed on your iPhone, please use the link below, which will require the use of a Mac or PC.


If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support


If you have a backup of the phone, you can use the backup to restore the data on the phone during the new setup.
