why it requires passcode

Hi,i have reseted my iphone then when i open it, it requires passcode but when i enter the old passcode it says wrong? Normally it shouldn't need to passcode however when i enter its not fit. What do i do ?

If you forgot your passcode and are unable to unlock your iPhone, you can erase it to remove the passcode lock and restore it from a backup.
