Phone and MacBook have different Apple IDs. Can I put my phone in my computer's Find My so I can use my computer to find my phone?
Would love to use my phone to find my computer as well but not as needed. Thanks.
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.5

Thanks that works if I open Icloud in the browser but when I click 'Open Find My App' it goes to the app but only shows my computer, not my phone. Is there a way for the find my app on my computer to show my phone as a 'device' or 'other item'?
You may be able to add the other ID as a friend an let its location be shared to the first ID. I haven't tried seeing if it will give me full access to Find My such as locking. It may not. However, you could set up a separate user account on the computer and set that to the other ID, just the way you would if you had a shared family computer with multiple separate accounts. That should give you full Find My access as far as it goes on a computer.
Anybody can sign into https://www.icloud.com/find to locate their device using a browser.
Basically, I want to do what I did when both computer and phone were on the same Apple ID which was open Find My, click 'Play Sound' and find my phone in the house that way...
Thank you. I think I tried to do that but it didn't seem to be working.
But the browser option is a good workaround for finding the phone via the computer. I'll use that for now.
