duplicate function disappeared

the duplicate function seems to have disappeared on photos on my iphone

How do I duplicate photos? now if I select a photo and click the share button, the option to duplicate has disappeared

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Hi gemmaconniecook,

You can duplicate photos on your iPhone by completing the following steps:

"Duplicate a photo or video

Open a photo or video, then tap .
Tap Duplicate.
A duplicate copy appears next to the original in your library.

Duplicate and copy photos and videos on iPhone - Apple Support

That should have everything working for you.
