Can I use a second Apple monitor in full screen while I retain "non-full screen" on the main computer

I want o buy a new Apple 27" Studio Display and pair it with my iMac Pro via an included Thunderbolt cable. My gating question is: I want to run the Studio Display in full screen mode simultaneously with the iMAC in non-full screen. Specifically, I want run Parallels Desktop in full screen on the Studio Display while I run MAC applications on the iMac.

Possible?

"Full screen" is a feature reverse-ported form iOS, land of tiny single displays and one-at-a-time processing.

What generally happens is that "full screen" on one display makes the others go dark.

You can run several display with very large windows, almost as large as the full screen, but that specific feature supports ONE display.
