My iPhone 6plus software’s version is 12.5.6 and it been weeks now and I can’t update it. It always says up to date but it is just IOS 12

Your phone, the 6 Plus cannot be updated beyond iOS 12.5.6. It lacks the components needed to run newer software. If you want that update, you will need a newer phone....
