Problems ReLocating Logic Sound Library to External HD (Permissions Issue)

No worries, though it looks like it's not been resolved so far. Anyway, as I see it, some bug in Monterey is messing up Logic's content management.

I'd encourage you to describe your issue in the form on this page: Feedback - Logic Pro – Apple (under "Bug report", for example).

Hopefully, Logic's dev team is on it, but it doesn't hurt to provide further stimulae :) They should step it up regarding Sound Library issues, I think.

Hi there, try checking and (if necessary) repairing disk permissions using Disk Utility. Before you do that, quit Logic (Command+Q) or go to top menu bar and select Logic Pro > Quit Logic Pro. After repairing permissions, reboot the Mac.

Hi there, you may find the Disk Utility app in /Applications/Utilities folder. After launching this app, select your system disk (by default it's called 'Macintosh HD') in the left (grey coloured) panel, under 'Internal' section, and run 'First Aid' diagnostic test on the selected disk by clicking the respective icon on the Disk Utility's menu bar. Alternatively, go to File > Run First Aid...

Typically 'First Aid' test would tell you whether there are issues with disk permissions, and would also offer to repair them.

N.B. Disk Utility is an app used for managing physical and virtual disks / volumes. It's always handy to learn how to operate this app. But of course, as with any such utility, one has to exercise certain caution, so as not to erase or format a disk or volume containing important data. In other words, exercise discretion and use at your own risk.
