I forgot the password to my Apple MacBook Air 13” Version: macOS 12.0.1, is I’m trying to find another way to login to my computer, however when I try to get the Recovery Key via under my phone settings it generates a 28-character code

Need assistance with login to my Apple MacBook Air. Forgot my password and unable to use the Recovery Key because the code through my phone settings is - a 28 character code and the laptop only allows 24 characters. How can I login into my laptop?
