I just bought my iPhone 13. Had data switched from my i8 plus. Why is trusted assist version 17 when none of apples list on devices show a trusted 17 version

Because the current Trust Asset Version is 17. Your iPhone is showing what it should show.
They don't need technical support. Their new phone came with the correct Trust Asset Version.
Why is 17 not on apples trusted list for any of their deviceses ?
Their list is often out of date. You have nothing to worry about. You've got the correct version.
