Air pod pro right side is about half the volume as the left. I bought a pair previous to these and returned them for the same reason these are now a few months old and these are doing it.

Troubleshooting AirPods Balance:

A. Start with a Reset:

B. Visit Apple Support links

• If your AirPods Won't Connect – Apple Support
• Connect and Use your AirPods and AirPods Pro – Apple Support

C. Verify an App's Balance:

If using an App, note that apps have their own balance settings as well. That would overrule that set in the Mac. So, make sure that the balance is set in the middle on an app itself..

D. Also, Clear Out Earwax:

E. Using an App?:

Check and make sure that the balance on the app is not more or less towards one side.

It’s possible it has nothing to do with the AirPods. There’s a setting in your phone under Accessibility->Audio/Visual that allows you to change the volume balance between the left and right ear bud. You can slide it to the left or right to balance it out. It’s possible that yours is shifted incorrectly, either way, this should fix your issue.
