Siri and the Meross garage door opener

I installed the Meross garage door opener (onto a LiftMaster MyQ WiFi garage door opener) and got it linked into HomeKit and Siri said I had to install LiveKey, so I did. Siri will open and close the door, however, when I have CarPlay active on my motorcycle and try voice command, Siri says she wont do that while driving (which is the point!), but also on CarPlay, my garage door appears on the app screen when I’m close to the garage (~ .5 mile) it appears and I can then use the hand controls to activate it. Can anyone tell me 1.) Why does Siri say I need LiveKey and 2.) why won’t Siri open the door via voice command while in motion on my motorcycle?
