Hey Picas, thanx for the info. I'll give it a. try when I get my new machine, my old 2012 Imac won't upgrade the system past 10.13.6. When I recently talked to Apple Tech about another issue, they said that Apple has made it impossible to play un-purchased music on Music.
Pica, thanx for the reply but, I'm trying to load from my own CD's and free downloads I've acquired. All the "purchased" music sync's just fine, my "free" music isn't there.
I just tested syncing with my iPad and the ripped CD's synced just fine. I selected Music and Albums and ticked the ones I wanted.
That's rubbish. I'm using an M1 MacBook Air with Monterey and the Music app has all the settings for importing as iTunes did.
