a new symbol appeared on my dock. It's a world globe and when hovered it says "...6:29 HD" What is it? MacBook Pro Monterey12.3.1

D.I. Johnson, that was it. It lead me to a site I visited earlier. I don't know how it was able (or me unknowingly) too put it there.
Thanks for your help. I was on my way too finding it through Google as you said. You beat me to it. It's gone now. In 15 years of owning Macs, that's a first for me.
The Globe is a indicator of some Networking or Internet thing. What happens when you click on it?
If you hover your mouse cursor on it, then it should display a title label.
With that info in hand you can then google search and find more information.
I'm afraid to click on it. When I right click it says "Open -or- Remove from Dock"
When I hover it says "...6:29 HD"
D.I. Johnson, When I hover I see "...6:29 HD". Google does'n have anything, but does refer to "John - 6:29".

Also found out I can drag any URL from the browser address window to that part of the dock and get that symbol. I never knew that.
