The difference between the high and low for that day.

A day with a greater difference between the high and low will have a longer line.

For example, today's low 53 and high 65 (12 degrees difference) has a shorter line that tomorrow with a low of 50 and high of 71 (21 degrees difference).

The colors of the line are blue for colder and yellow/orange for warmer.
