iMessage not coming to iPad

I did the use Apple ID for I Message" and set that up. All seems to be fine now on the other devices and the Forwarding line shows on the screen. Thanks

Sorry for the delay, it said I exceeded my Posting Limit for a while.

I am using iOS 15.3.1. There is no Text Message Forwarding item in Messages. This problem just started several weeks ago, I would assume when the latest update was installed. it all worked fine for years, but all of a sudden, the devices other than my iPhone stopped getting the Messages?

I have looked again on the iPhone. Don't have a Text Message Forwarding item anywhere on that page

On the iMessage section, I have Send & Receive set up for my phone number. I see inside that item, I could set it up for iCloud

Yep, we are on the same page and that item is not there on my phone!!

I don't see where to add the Apple ID and iCloud ID to the list.

I have the phone number, and then an item "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" but if I hit that, it want to delete the phone #
