How to delete AVAST from my MacBook Pro

I have an old 2012 MacBook Pro and would like to delete the AVAST software that is on it . What is the best way to do this?

I suggest starting with what Avast support offers for removing their apps. I did a quick check on the Internet and came across this article: Uninstalling Avast Security from Mac - Avast
