Trying to add a AirTag.

Trying to add AirTag. Telling me maximum items. I only have 3 items on Find My. Any suggestions?

This error may appear if you also have AirPods connected to your iPhone. If so:


  • Go to bluetooth in your settings
  • Click on your AirPods and click on forget this device
  • Place your AirTag next to your device and press connect
  • Once connected, you can reconnect your AirPods to your device
