Airtag Item Options

You probably need to update your iPhone to iOS 14.5 as they just launched it in their latest update.

To do so go to Settings > General > Software Update and then let it install. Make sure you are in a place with a strong and fast Wifi Connection as the Update is over a Gigabyte.

Okay gotcha, you can't use the find feature because I believe you have an iPhone X, XR, XS or XS Max and they don't have the U1 chip so it won't give you directions. However you can still play sounds from the Air Tags.

Based on what it says quite a few countries didn't give Apple regulatory approval for the U1 chip so it has to be turned off.

Thats odd, Maybe reach out to apple their Spain number is:

900812703 It says nothing about restrictions on the U1 chip anywhere on their site. or maybe you need to leave it somewhere and then you can activate precision finding because it said "with you"

I found the solution!

Settings > Privacy > Location services > Find my > Select "While Using the App" and enable "Precise Location"
