Is MacOS Monterey available for MacBook Pro Mid 2014? Will it be made available for MacBook Pro Mid 2014?

Apparently not. The 'build model year configuration' is not listed in above Support article.

Of course that means you'd need to suffice with Big Sur11.x ~ or perhaps older Catalina.


There are technical reasons why they cannot teleport their technical experts ahead into

the future, with means to communicate back to our time; its easier to self-obsolete stuff.

download the installer from the App Store, the installer opens automatically."

  • macOS Big Sur can upgrade Catalina, Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks
  • macOS Catalina can upgrade Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks
  • macOS Mojave can upgrade High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion


[These can appear in the Applications folder when their installers downloads.]
