General and ongoing cleaning can help you maintain your AirPods or AirPods Pro.

AirPods Pro Connecting as Two Separate AirPods

Flashing orange light on case when both pods are in case. Can't reset both, can only reset one at a time.

Both are connected separately and will cancel each other out when wearing and removing. Ie When take out the left and put it back in my ear, the right stops working and vice versa. I can't get both to work in synch.

I've updated my phone (13) and still nothing. At a complete loss as this problem doesn't seem to be on this board.

I feel your pain, cause this exact same thing has happened to me a couple of times.

What fixed it for me was literally putting the airpods in and holding down the power button for 15 seconds, to reset it. I made sure to ‘Forget Device’ in the Bluetooth settings and repeated it a couple times. Then voilá, it fixed itself.
