How do I stop my iphone saving photos I received via Messages from other people. They are automatically saving to my Photos library…

It sounds like “Shared with You” is involved.

At this time, it's not possible to turn off the option to save the photos when you take them within Messages. To delete media from iMessages, Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Messages to view all of the media sent to you eating up space on your phone. For Shared With You, go to this link:
