Need help backing up and restore my locked phone

I locked my phone because I forgot my passcode so i need to back up using itunes and then reset my phone to factory settings but i need help

You will not be able to back-up until you get the phone unlocked. It is too late to back-up. You will need to restore the device using a computer. The process will erase the device. Later you can restore your data from a recent back-up. Instructions here…
