I forgot my password for my old Apple id

Great! You can initiate the account recovery instead if there's no apple device where your account is currently signed in.

You can go to iforgot.apple.com. Enter your account and old number. Then, look for the option you don't have access to your device if asked for notification.

After that, look for "Can't use any of these options" text ans just follow, the onscreen steps.

When asked for a code, you will see the option there that you don't use the number anymore and by then, you can add your new number.

Please note that account recovery might take days/weeks.

If we forgot the number linked to account, we have no way to recover the account. I suggest to check with your family or friends to see if they still have your old number.
