I lost my original apple remote but have another but how do I pair another remote without the original?

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

What is your model remote? Identify your Apple TV remote - Apple Support

Learn how to pair or link a replacement remote: If your Apple TV remote isn't working - Apple Support

- For the Siri Remote, pairing a new remote will automatically unpair any previous remote.

- For the Apple Remote (aluminum), the unlinking and linking can both be done with the new remote.
