Checkmark formula. Column B has a value say 100. Column C ‘True’ value check mark Column D makes negative value of Column B or remains Zero

So as title states trying to create a check mark formula where column B is value Column C is Checkmark and column D is negative value or Zero based on checkmark. Added bonus would also love to highlight row too

Formula in D

=IF(C,-B,0)

or

=IF(C,0,-B)

Highlighting a row is much more complicated. Maybe just highlight the cell?
