The weird thing is it’s mainly the camera app, I would understand apps appearing maybe if they were updating or refreshing but by being the camera app, it’s constant appearance in my recently used though not using it is worrying me? Is this a normal bug or (for paranoia purposes) is a third party perhaps using my camera when I am not realising? Thanks for any responses!

Hello ~You can go to Settings * Battery and scroll down…it shows recent app usage …not perfect but you can take a look there as I do at the end of the day. I am perhaps concerned about that as you are:) Also read through this link:

Nope I distinctly mean recently used, not quick launch or siri suggestions, the recently used you get when you swipe UP from the bottom (not down from the top because that’s suggestions) but thank you anyway! :)
If you mean the quick-launch screen, apps that have been used even once will remain on the list forever, unless you go to the trouble of removing them.
That’s what I mean also. Recently used, quick launch, multitasking all mean the same thing. And the apps shown will remain on the list forever unless you explicitly delete them individually.
Apps that I haven’t used keep appearing in my recently used?
