Screen recording cut off

I am a new user of iPhone 12. Prior to this week, all my screen recording was being saved properly. This week, all my recordings started getting cut off to the point where I recorded 15 minutes and only got 5 seconds recorded. I tried recording a shorter time and it still cut off. How can this be fixed? I have plenty of space in gallery.

screen recording on iphone hi! the screen recording came out significantly shorter than it should’ve had. the video shoudve been around 15-20 minutes and came out to be 8 minutes long. they cut off the beginning, so only the last 8 minutes remained. i had a whooping 7gb free when i went to check after i noticed the problem. so if the storage wasnt the problem what was it?

iPhone Screen Recording Doesn’t Work What’s the solution to this? I just bought iPhone 14 Pro Max yesterday. Tried to screen record by adding it to my control center. Clicked on the gray button. Waited 3 seconds for it to start recording. Tapped anywhere on the screen to exit out of control center. Screen recording automatically stops. Happens every time. I tried waiting a few seconds before tapping out. Nothing works. I cannot exit the control center without automatically stopping the screen recording. What’s the fix?

Restart the device. That's it.
